Height of mounting for doorbell 3
I am installing my Ring Doorbell 3 to existing bell wiring. The instructions suggest the mounting height should be 1.2metres. Due to existing wiring my doorbell will be mounted at 1.6metres. In view of this distance, should I use the wedge mounting plate for the bell.

Hey @fhorley. This is up to you! If you notice that things that are closer to your Doorbell not being picked up or motion detection does not seem ideal, then please install the Wedge to point more down to see if this helps. Feel free to give it a try without the Wedge as well, since you're not too far from the recommended installation height!
