Anyone have battery level stuck at 94% on hardwired? Ring doorbell front LED showing white colour but in the device health report, the battery level indicate undefined. Anyone encounter such issue?

Hi @marcochoo. Hardwiring a battery-operated Doorbell will provide it with a trickle charge that is meant to help keep the battery levels topped off. Depending on how many events your Doorbell experiences on a particular day, you may see the battery percentage fluctuate, as busier days will drain more battery life than days with very little events. With that said, the battery level should not say "undefined" or anything other than a percentage. I'd suggest resetting the Doorbell by holding down the setup button, and walking it through a new setup by following the steps under Set Up a Device in the Ring App. You should then see the battery percentage correctly. :)

I have already done that. Still the same. When the LED show solid white color, does that mean it there is no electrical contact issue? I saw on the forum that there is a lot of contact pin problem due to the plastic base plate flexing.

@marcochoo The white LED light indicates that the Doorbell is hardwired and receiving a trickle charge which helps keep the battery topped off. You may see the battery life fluctuate, but with standard use, having it hardwired to your existing doorbell circuit should prevent you from having to manually charge the battery often.

For a brief period, the app shows 100% battery, but device healthy report stills shows undefined battery level. This morning, it shows 94% battery level. The only thing turn on is Ring alert. No motion or motion notifications turn on. Very disappointed in Ring products. Cannot even get battery level to display correctly and charge properly on hardwired. Luckily I did not subscribe to Ring protection plan !

@marcochoo Are you experiencing any problems with the performance of the Doorbell itself? It sounds like it is working properly and the battery is maintaining a charge and not draining quickly or anything of that matter. If you see the battery level show as undefined, then I would suggest following up with our support team so they can take a closer look for you.
