App not loading with notifications

Does anyone know what to do or problem why this keeps happening as never used to do it. So if I get a motion alert and click on it the app loads but then just says loading. I have to shut the app down completely then reload to get it to work but say I have reloaded the app and get another notification even with app open it will not load without having the shut it down completely again
