Turning off a ring doorbell
power-issue

Hi, I've got a faulty 1st Gen doorbell which is being replaced under warranty. Is there anyway to turn it off completely or mute it as every so often it dings (as if someone had pressed the button) but the button doesn't actually work, that's why it's going back! I'd imagine it'll continue to do this all the way back to the Ring distribution/returns centre, as at the moment it's currently sat in it's box sounding every 10 mins. Thanks

Hi @JPH1. I would go into the Device Settings of the Doorbell and turn the Ringer Volume all the way down. This is under the General Settings. You can also turn off the Alerts so this won't continue to be a nuisance. I hope you enjoy your new Doorbell!!
