Doorbell won't connect to my network

troubleshooting
So I have been struggling to get this doorbell to work. It wouldn't connect to my router so I figured it was a range issue. I bought a WiFi range extender and while it connected to that fine during set up it won't connect to it after that in live view. I have re-installed this thing about 20 times without any success. Is this scrap metal or is it worth the money I paid?

Hi @Mark2112. If your Doorbell will not reconnect to your wifi extender, try the following steps: * Connect your phone to your wifi extender and check that you can connect to the internet. * Press and hold the setup button for 20-25 seconds to factory reset your doorbell. * Reboot your router by unplugging it for 10 seconds and plugging it back in. * Try completing the setup using another device like a phone or tablet. * Disable any active VPNs on your network and phone.
