Add a Battery

Very odd issue. My device is.not seeing the battery. It says add a battery. The Gen 2 you cannot remove the battery. I have it hardwired in and you dont see it charge. It flashes blue but only at the top of the circle. I reinstalled it and camera says its updating firmware and when it comes back, it still says add a battery. Plus then the device is not working. I cannot press the doorbell to activate it. I then have to reset it and add a device set up again…All a vicious circle. Please help
