Security Flood lights

Ho do you adjust the sensitivity of the flood lights (as opposed to the cameras)? Mine keep going on and off constantly even though there is no obvious motion in the area. They are so bad that I have had to switch the lights permanently off - in reality this means they are worse than useless. I can see how to adjust camera sensitivity but not the flood lights.
