Sometimes one of my  ring stickup cams  will turn in setup mode. It seems it does it when my router is off for some days.  When cam  goes in setup mode  will broadcast a wifi called "setup ring" (or something similar I don't remember exactly)  My questions are:  -as anyone can connect to the cam in setup mode (cam setup wifi is not protected) what can they do without having physical access to the cam? is it safe to use that cam? -why does the cam goes in setup mode? if I turn on my home router, the cam will connect automatically to the router and works normally and the wifi "setup ring" disappears. they are ring stick up battery cams.

Hi @user_2afd67. If your network goes offline and reconnects later, Ring devices will try to reconnect automatically. Going into setup mode is part of the process of reconnecting. It is normal. No one can do anything with the temporary Ring network since the Cameras are already set up on your account.
