Setting modes via Echo Dot

Question

Is it possible to get my Echo Dot to set the camera modes of my two indoor cameras? I want Alexa to set it to either disarm, home or away modes with my voice but after trying several suggestions from help articles online, Alexa just keeps saying different versions of she doesn't know or can't do that. Is it possible in the UK? Am I just saying the wrong command? Can someone talk me through how to set it up (I know that the Alexa app needs to have cams designated to rooms/groups so not sure if I did that right either)?

Hi @sarahc127. With Alexa, you can change the Mode on your Ring Alarm system via voice, which you can find outlined in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360020893671-Arming-and-Disarming-Your-Alarm-with-Alexa). Currently you can't swap the Mode for your Ring Security Cameras or Doorbells via Alexa, but feel free to add that suggestion to our [Feature Request](https://community.ring.com/c/products/24) board.
