Ring Chime Pro installation after installing Ring Floodlight Cam Pros. Can we do this?

I have already installed two Ring Floodlight Cam Pros and now I find that I have a need to install a Ring Chime Pro. Can I install this Ring Chime Pro now even though I’ve already installed the Floolight Cams? What should I do? Can I install it anyway after the fact?

Hi @SherryRing. Yes! You can add devices and accessories to your Ring system as you please. Once the Chime Pro is added, you can select the Floodlight Cam in the Ring app and change your WiFi network from the Device Health menu. From there, you'll select the Chime Pro network. Let us know if you need help with this!

Thank you so much for your quick response! My major concern is that I found out I have weak signal strength (60) to my Ring Floodlight Camera Pros (I have 2). I now have bought the Ring Chime Pro (2nd gen) and want to add it to my cams. Will I have to reinstall my cams again after I install the new Chime Pro installed or will they be automatically be added to the Chime Pro within the network? I just don’t want to have to reinstall both cams. One is very high up on the side of the house and I definitely won’t see the light flashing!

Hi @SherryRing. You will not have to reinstall them. Once the Chime Pro is installed, select your Floodlight Cam, then tap Device Health and change your WiFi network. You can follow the on-screen prompts to do this. I hope this helps.
