just 1 year old after changing the battery mode to low car cam stopped turning back on when the car is turn on. basically, its completely died now. call support was told to reach amazon for refund but need to return the product. My concern was the internal storage which saved the video record are unable to be reset with factory reset. i cant return a product that contain my private data back to amazon. what should I do, throw that $XXXX into the trash to save my private data or return for full refund?? called support no help useless wasted 2 hour of my time.

    Hi @AlexZh. Factory resetting the Car Cam will erase all stored video. To factory reset the Car Cam, you would need to follow the below steps: Press and hold the top button for 7 seconds until the LED light turns yellow. Press and hold the top button for 7 seconds again until the LED light turns yellow. Press and hold the top button for 7 seconds for a third time until the LED light turns yellow. Car Cam should reboot and go into setup mode. The LED light will display a slow green pulse. Follow the in-app prompts to reconnect Car Cam. If you aren’t able to get the Car Cam up and running after a reset, the next step would be to contact support for assistance. If you originally purchased the Car Cam from Amazon, and they are unable to help, please reach back out to our support team and let them know you were unable to reach a resolution with Amazon.
