Ring camera not capturing all the motion

I installed a ring camera over my garage for security purposes.  The motion zone encompasses the entire driveway and part of the alley even.  Yet it does not capture people entering or exiting my house from the rear and only captures the back end of cars driving away.  I took out the trash and it only captured me coming back in the house.  Nothing of me going OUT with the trash.  VERY disappointed.  I've turned off the smart alerts, motion sensitivity is at max and the zone is maxed out as well.  Still not capturing.  My front door ring doorbell camera is not capturing people walking up.  It only captures delivery drivers driving away.  The front door camera used to work fine.  What changed?
