Floodlight cam pro volume slider doesn't work

Hi, I have been trying to reduce the volume of the "Hi, you are currently being recorded" warning as it is sooo loud!! But the volume slider control in the Ring app (android) has no effect, even if I set it to the minimum level. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution? TIA.
