Three days ago I had £80 deducted from my bank account. This was for my yearly unlimited charge to use the service. Whilst I understand there is a cost for this service, my complaint is that there is no pre warning, no communication, no reminder, nothing. I do not think this is acceptable. It also unexpectedly put my bank account into the red…..again unacceptable. I would like to understand Rings processes and procedures regarding yearly payments and whether I can can my subscription and get a refund?

Hi @user_bfd55c. Ring Protect plans are billed either monthly, or annually. You can always check your Ring Protect billing information, such as which plan you're on and what your billing date is, by logging in on Ring.com. You can cancel a Ring Protect plan at any time, and you'll receive a prorated refund for the unused amount of time if eligible. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to process.

Oh that's a nightmare, luckily I cancelled and renewed before they put the prices up again !  I wont be renewing next time I can by a new door bell that actually works for that kind of money without the poor speech that you cant make out what is being said and stutters with 1 gigabite internet 2meters from the door bell,  Plus I cant access my account because Ring wont allow anyone to change their mobile number which is used to login, everyone on here says to go to help so don't be surprised if they post the same reply to you where help takes you around in circles until you give up looking.  Best advice I can give is to ring them and keep trying to get through !
