Unable to watch motion events two minutes after

I have had my ring doorbell for just over a month. No problems the first month. Now to click on history events of motion it says I have to get the subscription of £5 a month but my friend hasn’t? Is this correct? When I say history I mean 2 minutes after, just after live goes off- not even an hour later

Hi @user_94aca2. An active Ring Protect plan is required to have access to video playback. Without an active subscription, you will be limited to Live View, allowing you to see what happens in real time.
