Can I take my devices to Spain from the UK and set them up over there with a Spanish ring account?

I ask because I want to buy and take a security system to Spain, and I want to get the ring account where I will get cellular backup on my home system. Will the UK home security system work in Spain if they maybe have different cellular plans? I haven't owned the home security system before. I will also be taking a trip to America before Spain; the same question applies to the device ending up in Spain. I want to buy it wherever it is cheapest and then take it to Spain.
