Convert solar panel type c conector

 Hello, do you think that if I cut the cable from type c and put it directly to the connector from my ring 2 version (fork conector) it works thanks

Hi @runnersin. We would not advise cutting wires to connect a solar panel to your Ring Camera or Doorbell, as it may damage your device. Cutting wires or dismantling a Ring device will also void its [warranty](https://ring.com/warranty). We have a few different Solar Panel adapter cables for purchase on [Ring.com](https://ring.com/collections/accessories?filters=type:solar), which may be useful.
