Chime Pro speaker issue

So I have a number of ring products networked but the chime pro is a total nightmare, it has gone faulty on numerous occasions. I've even had to bypass the internal power converter as that went faulty, its now connected via a 5v adapter. The chime is still connected to the network and linked to the doorbell, steady blue light etc, however, the speaker has now failed on it rendering it useless. I've done test sound from the app and the volume is max. I have invested a lot in ring products but am thinking I should replace it all with an alternative and hopefully more reliable brand and cancel my subscription.
