Chime Help
Cannot get correct password for one chime. Every time it says wrong password. I reset password, turned everything off. Nothing is working. My other chimes 6? All work fine but this one I can’t get it to go connect. Chime pro. Another issue is on my dashboard. It has a red plug-in your camera thing, but they are all plugged into electricity. I would like to get rid of that. TY!!!

Hi Tom, Thank you kindly for responding. The password is my password and that is what I reset. Probably shouldn’t have because it’s not working at all now. Not willing to mess with the other chimes. I did try the Wi-Fi password to thinking that it is the actual Wi-Fi on my router password, but that didn’t work. As for the red charging symbols on the dashboard. I have gone to settings and done wired instead of wireless, and it still shows. I can deal with that but the one rogue chime is really troubling. Sorry it took so long to answer your kind response.

Hi @user_53573a. The only password associated with a Ring Chime would be your wifi password, which you would use to connect the Ring Chime to your wifi network. This is the same wifi password you used to connect your other Ring Chimes to your wifi network. Could you please share a screenshot of what you're seeing in the Ring app when you're trying to connect your Chime to your wifi network?

Hi @user_53573a. Is this the WiFi password you're referring too or another password? What camera model is having the Red Pug-In symbol? You should be able to select this cam and go to the Device Settings menu to update the power status under the General Settings menu.
