Chime 2nd Generation - no lights
troubleshooting
power-issue
chime

For the 3rd time in as many months I have experienced issues with my Chime 2nd generation. Despite technical support eventually managing to find a solution to the previous issues, I am once again stuck with a chime that does not work. There are no lights, blue or green, it’s simply dead. I have tried plugging it into various other electrical sockets, but it’s just simply non responsive. It’s driving me insane because I have so far been unable to speak with Technical support as the line cuts off after the automated message. It’s so unfair as I pay a great deal of money for this subscription and have many devises. How can the same device keep experiencing the same issue over and over again and then not be able to liaise with tech support. Is there an email address I can email on? I’m at the point of raising this matter with the ombudsman… within the App the chime is showing Device health as: Device Offline, last reported signal strength RSSI 45

Make sure the Ring Chime is plugged into a functioning power outlet, then hold down the reset button on the side for about 15 seconds. After the reset is done, complete a new setup of the Chime in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If this issue persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, please reach out to our support team at one of the numbers available here. Make sure you’re selecting the correct phone number for your region. You can also get in touch with our support team on Facebook @Ring by sending a private message with a few details about your concern. Email support is not an option at this time.
