Can't set up the chime

I have tried so many times to set up the chime without success. I can't finish the set up. It just says it's offline and despite several attempts I have managed to get it online. Setting up the chime should be so simple but it is just too complicated. I feel like giving up. I wouldn't reccomend this product to anyone.
