Cannot get chime green light to flash
On initial plug-in to the outlet the green light will flicker on for a second but holding the button in for 5 seconds or greater than 15 seconds it will not flash regardless it probably went offline you know 15-20 days ago I have verified all network settings because since I have extremely high security on my home network I had to make sure the MAC address was in place which is an in fact true I think the chime is bad but looking just for a second opinion since the green light won't flash with the 15 second restart nor other than that initial flash on it's plugged into an AC Outlet I think we have a situation where we've got a chime that has went out of service after many months of good use multiple Outlets do not fix the issue

I had the same problem and after spending 45mins on the phone with Ring technical support I was offered a 30% discount on buying a new chime. I resolved the issue by tapping on the bottom of the chime and light which is set to come on at dusk came on and the green light starting flashing. It's amazing what your mind tells you to do when a new bill is presented to you.

UHaving the exact same issue. Chime went offline, held 5 seconds, held 15 seconds, held 60 seconds. No flashing green light. I only get a short single flash whenever I replug it in the wall. Also tried wacking it on a counter a few times as suggested in another post but no use. Worked fine for 18 months and then just died. My old door chime worked for 40 years ... just saying :-)

The main troubleshooting steps available for the Ring Chime are the following:- Plug the Chime into a different outlet, ensuring that outlet has power. - Hold down the reset button on the side of the Chime for 15 seconds. - Walk through a new setup in the Ring app with the steps found under Set Up a Device.
