Hi there, @Kath2! Depending on the model of Camera you have, simply snoozing the Camera will avoid alerts during windy days. Check out our [help center article about snooze](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000047206-How-to-Use-Motion-Snooze-and-Global-Snooze) for tips on using this feature. Motion scheduling or Modes can also help with avoiding persistent alerts. For a battery powered Camera model, too much motion can certainly drain battery quicker. In this case, the best next step will be to fine tune motion settings to avoid picking up continuous motion. I hope this helps! :)
