RING CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST
I am so beyond angry! I was having trouble with my spotlight security cam, mind you I have been a paying Ring Protect Plus (1st Gen) customer since 2019. I have paid every year for my membership. Given I had to change cards a few times. But every year was paid in full. Anyways, my spotlight cam wasn't working so I tried everything from 4 fully charged batteries, to brand new fully charged batteries, to even a hard reset of the device. Nothing worked. I then attempted to remove or deactivate the device to re-add the device to Ring instructions by their poor (NON-US) customer support. Then they tell me because I deactivated the device it is no longer covered under warranty. And because I changed cards for my yearly service fees this was considered a "gap" in coverage and it voided the warranty. This is not right! Seriously thinking of changing companies for my home security. Also, I was hung up on by their customer service when I was upset and trying to explain my situation to them. I call back, and they said they have no log of a previous call to customer service. People! We are seriously wasting time and money with Ring while being disrespected and treated rudely. BBB should shut Ring down!
