Does Ring App work with Access Controller Pro 2 installed outside of US?

Hi, I live in the UK and wonder if the Ring App will actually work with an Access Controller Pro 2. I'm pretty sure the ACP2 will work with my gate opener when using ethernet rather than cellular connection to the ACP2. My opener has a pair of NO contacts that I can connect to the ACP2 relay. I suspect the cellular connectivity of the ACP2 is the reason it is not for sale outside US. The real question is whether the Ring App will actually allow me to add the device and open the gate when using it in the UK. I don't want to use a VPN to look as though I am in the US. Appreciate any info the help me clear this up. Thanks in advance, Dave
