Amazon Show 5 and Ring only for seniors?

I have installed the Ring along with Amazon show for my parents. They do not have smartphones but I used my sisters Amazon account to set it up the Ring to the Show via an ipad. I cannot get once the doorbell is pressed to pop up on the show who is at the door. Any suggestions? I wanted this to make it easier for my elder parents when they are on couch to see who is at the door then waiting for a long time to answer. Any advice thanks
