Alexa not notifying when doorbell rings - new installation

We're new to Ring, and have just installed a wireless doorbell today. Only issues is that when it rings it's not being announced by our Alexa show. I've gone through the set up (turning on 'Doorbell Press Announcements' in the Alexa app and making sure Comms are enabled and do not disturb is off). If I ask Alexa to show me the front door she can. Can anyone advise any other steps I can take please? (I've uninstalled the Ring from the Alexa app and reinstalled it again!) Thank you!
