Modes on Ring doorbell 3
Hello, I have the Ring doorbell 3 with the basic protection plan. I cannot control the modes anymore. Did something change? It says I need a protection plan which I have. Thank You

Hi @user_a0534a. Yes, a change was made on September 7th, 2024. The Modes feature is no longer available for Basic subscribers who do not have a Ring Alarm system. You will need to subscribe to Ring Protect Plus or Pro to have access to Modes for Ring Doorbells and Cameras. An email notice about this change was sent to our Basic subscribers without a Ring Alarm on August 7th, 2024. You can still control individual camera motion schedules, Smart Alerts, and privacy settings, through the Device Settings tile in the Ring app.
