Merge steplight and mailbox sensor?

Stupid question. Can the antenna of the mailbox sensor be connected to a Ring (battery) Steplight so I can get both motion sensing AND a light inside my mailbox? During the short days of winter, this would be helpful. Otherwise, I can just use both.
