The Ring [Smart Lighting Floodlight Battery](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026709091-Download-the-Manual-Ring-Smart-Lights-Floodlight-Battery) is not compatible with a solar panel as it uses standard batteries for power. However, the Ring [Smart Lighting Floodlight Solar](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041239152) does use a solar panel along with our Quick Release Battery Pack. I hope this helps!
