Integrate Ring Intercom with Samsung Smart Things
Hello! I'm really struggling to get the Ring Intercom integrated with Samsung Smart Things (or any other platform for that matter). I have added Ring services in Smart Things but when I want to add a device the only options are cameras and doorbells. All the models show in a list but no sign of the Intercom.In Alexa app I setup Smart Things and I can see all devices there, but it seems this only goes one way.What I need is to be able to create a routine on Smart Things to be able to open my buildings door. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for replying. So would it be possible to install Alexa app on my phone and say "Alex, open the front door"?

Hi @user_6f51e4 thank you for reaching out to the Ring Community!The ring intercom is currently only compatible with Alexa as a 3rd party.For security reasons the Ring intercom will not work with routines to open a door, as it can lead to a door opening when the owner is not present or aware.
