Already regretting buying a Ring doorbell system
troubleshooting

New system set up today by my husband the app works OK on his iPhone, shared system with me so I created an account and I can log on to it with my iPhone, I was asked to download the app; after installing the app it will not accept my account username and password, the error message is “sign in failed. Try allowing cookies in your browser and restart ring app to continue” point is that I can log in on my phone to my account on the Ring website but not the app! So why do I need to allow cookies which are a security risk

Hi @user_fb8a6c. When you log in on the Ring app, your phone's default web browser is used, which is why cookies and JavaScript should be enabled. If the default web browser on your phone is Safari, you'll want to check the settings and enable cookies and JavaScript. This should allow you to log in on the Ring app without receiving this error message.
