WiFi 6 Ring doorbell wired and Virgin Fibre
Virgin Fibre WiFi 6 Hub 5 I have just taken Virgin Fibre 130+Mb connection. The ring wired doorbell now shows a poor connection. I was on standard copper 11Mb before and was working fine. Does anybody know if my model of doorbell is compatible with Wifi6? Router is within 3 Meters. Router has 2.4GHz and 5 GHz enabled. All other devices in the house are running great. Any ideas on how to resolve or is the doorbell too old? Have tried reactivating but still poor signal.

If it is connecting, however poorly, it is compatible. Have you tried hard rebooting the doorbell (restart from a full factory reset)? Have you changed the Router? If so, that could be your issue. Just because its newer, doesn't mean its better. Is it in the same place as the old one? Different router have different antenna arrays, they could point in a different direction. Try reorientation of the router....but remember the app takes forever to update the signal strength change, is by no means immediate, it takes a while. Best to swipe it closed and reopen the app for each change.
