Virgin Fibre WiFi 6 Hub 5
I have just taken Virgin Fibre 130+Mb connection. The ring wired doorbell now shows a poor connection. I was on standard copper 11Mb before and was working fine. Does anybody know if my model of doorbell is compatible with Wifi6? Router is within 3 Meters. Router has 2.4GHz and 5 GHz enabled. All other devices in the house are running great. Any ideas on how to resolve or is the doorbell too old? Have tried reactivating but still poor signal.

Hi @user_c94aab. Wifi 6 can cause connectivity issues sometimes, depending on which Ring device you have. Is the Video Doorbell Wired the model you have? Are you experiencing performance issues, or are you just seeing a poor signal on the Device Health page?

UVideo doorbell wired is the model. The poor signal on the device health page is showing weak signal dB 79. Performance is slow but just about acceptable

@user_c94aab An RSSI of 79 is on the high side, which does indicate a weak signal. This would also explain why you are experiencing some delays in performance. The Video Doorbell Wired is only compatible with 2.4GHz, so you could try creating a guest network using only 2.4GHz. If it's possible to disable wifi 6, I'd also suggest giving this a try. If none of these suggestions help, you would need to contact our support team to investigate further.

Hi @user_c94aab. Are your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks separate? If you go to your phone's settings, can you pick which network to connect to?
