Ring doorbell failed after less than 2 years
troubleshooting
I have a Ring doorbell generation 2 with integral battery which has failed in less than 2-years, the battery is charged and I have tried resetting the unit but no lights are displayed on the unit and it is unresponsive, does anyone have any other suggestions.Failing after 2 years is very poor quality.

Hi @user_63d70e. When charging the battery, make sure you have plugged it in to a standard power outlet using the provided charging cable. It can take up to 8 hours to fully charge the battery. After that's done, hold down the setup button for 20 seconds to reset the Doorbell. After the reset is done, walk through the steps under Set Up a Device to complete a new setup in the Ring app. Should the Doorbell still be unresponsive after the troubleshooting steps above, please contact our support team directly to see what options are available.
