Ring Doorbell 3 refuses to connect to the app
Hi all, new ringer here. Just taken possession of a new Ring Doorbell 3 and I’m now questioning myself…why did I do this. I thought these things were supposed to be 1d1ot proof. The cam is in setup mode ie spinning white light but when I add a new device to my phone (Pixel 7 Pro) i get “We had a problem adding this ring device to your account”. I’ve tried 3 phones (all android), reinstalled the app, put the phone, doorbell and router right next to each other and absolutely nothing works. I’ve done what ring suggest ie turn cell data off and only use wifi, again, same message. I 'm grey already so can’t go greyer, just end up losing hair over this. Cheers

Hi there, welcome to the Ring Community! Make sure your Ring app is fully updated to the latest version available, and turn off any VPNs on your phone when using the Ring app. You should be able to follow the setup process using the steps under Set Up a Device. If you're still receiving this message, it's possible you may have already completed the setup. Try navigating out of the setup flow, then view the Devices list to see if the Doorbell shows up there. Please feel free to share any screenshots to demonstrate what you're seeing on your end.
