Notofication Delay

Hi, when im im away from home and someone rings my doorbell, by the time I get the notification, and activated the camera, they have gone. When I arrive home,.I can unlock the door and walk through the house before I get an alarm on my phone. can it be made to respond faster ?

I thought purpose of the rapid ring app was to allow a quicker response to a notification, and not to actually GET a qucker notification ? , Which I think is what Paul is asking about. Some advice on solving notification delays would be good. Thanks.

Hi @Johnboy. Notification delays are typically caused by the Ring device having a weaker wifi connection, which is measured by the device's RSSI. You can read more about RSSI in our Community Post [here](https://community.ring.com/t5/Ring-Device-Tips-and-How-To-s/How-it-Works-Your-Ring-Device-RSSI-Good-vs-Poor/ba-p/751#M4). Improving the RSSI and ensuring your phone has a strong internet connection is the best way to receive notifications in a timely manner.
