Doorbell keeps ringing when no one is there
My ring doorbell keeps ringing when no one is at the door. I thought maybe it was a WiFi problem but bought the chime to help with that and still have the same problem. Any solutions?

Hi, the doorbell is battery operated and doesn't have any wires.

Hi @user_1ec19a. In that case, can you please specify which model of Ring Doorbell you have? The device name is located on the Device Health page in the Ring app. Also, are these rings listed in the Event History page in the Ring app? Or is the Doorbell just playing the ringer sound with no associated event?

Hi @user_1ec19a. Start by checking the wires on the back on your doorbell. Ensure that they are tightly secured to the terminals on the back of your doorbell. If they are loose, they could be causing random rings.
