If you are looking for a more consistent power source to charge your battery, this Video Doorbell can be hardwired to an existing doorbell system or transformer for continuous charging (8-24 VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz). Please do not use halogen or garden-lighting transformers, or any DC transformer/power supply. I hope this helps! :)
