Battery lights not showing so no idea if it is being charged

Question

When attempting to manually charge my doorbell battery (ring video doorbell2) the red/green lights flash on but then immediately go off, don’t think it is being charged.   Was fully charged up until Nov 23 and then I had to switch from being wired to just battery and this has happened
