Alerts sound in Apple Watch but not iPhone

Since buying an Apple Watch, when someone rings my doorbell the alert no longer sounds on my phone but the alert comes on my watch. How can I get the alert to sound on my iPhone as well?

Hi @user_4dc08b. Check your Apple Watch settings to make sure notifications appear on both your phone and the watch. If that doesn't work, try turning notifications off on your Apple Watch to see if you then receive alerts on your iPhone again as normal.
