Transformer power's good but when connected, Ring Doorbell Pro won't turn on

troubleshooting

The transformer power's good (average 16.5 volts: Low 16v, HIgh 17v) but when connected to Ring Doorbell Pro, the voltage drops to 2 volts. This results in the Ring Doorbell Pro not having enough voltage to power on. It has been working since the initial installation in March 2022 but just died. I bought this from Amazon in February 2022. What is my option at this time? What does the "limited warranty" cover?

Hi @koteol. What is the voltage rating on your transformer? Also, do you have the Pro Power Kit installed in your chime kit? We recommend that your transformer be 16-24VAC, 40VA. If you've checked this and your Ring Pro is still not powering up, Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
