Ring Pro with Pro Power Kit v3
Well, I ordered what I thought was a v2 Pro Power Kit, it however was a V3 which has no bypass. Trying to bypass my mechanical chime, which no longer exists on a V1 Ring Pro. Can't find any V1 or V2 Power Kits anyplace other than really expensive ones on eBay. The original power kit was accidentally damaged while removing the in-wall chime system. Any options or am I screwed and need to upgrade the doorbell?

Does the Pro Power Kit v3 have the bypass terminals under the label? Or, do I just disconnect the 2 wires, from the mechanical chime, and attach them directly to the Pro Power Kit V3 wires?

CHi @user25724. To bypass your internal chime kit with the Pro Power Kit v3, you would connect your Video Doorbell Pro 2 directly to the transformer. You need to twist the two wires together that are connected to your chime terminals (front or back door and transformer) to complete the circuit. This only applies to the Doorbell Pro 2 which uses the Pro Power Kit v3.

The [Spare Parts Kit](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-pro-2-spare-parts) for the Video Doorbell Pro 2 should come with a Pro Power Kit, and can be found easiest on the accessories page at Ring.com. When bypassing your chime kit, the bypass portion on the Pro Power Kit may be under the sticker, as shown in our Help Center article below. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005974466-How-to-Bypass-your-Internal-Doorbell-with-the-Pro-Power-Kit-V2-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro- Alternatively, our [Plug-In Adapter (2nd Generation)](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-plugin-adapter-gen-2) is a great way to provide power to your Video Doorbell Pro 2. :)
