Ring doorbell 2 battery
My battery is not staying charged as long as it use to. Is that normal after a few years? How long should the battery last?

Hi @Bonnier243. There a few factors that play into the life of your battery. One of those factors would be the amount of activity your Ring Video Doorbell captures. 35 or more events could cause excessive drain. Another factor would be your [RSSI](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Understanding-RSSI-Values-and-Wireless-Signal-Strength). A weak signal will cause your doorbell to work harder, causing the battery to drain faster. If you feel like those few things aren't the cause of your battery drain, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).
