Can both users view and answer ring?
live-view
troubleshooting

If we have 2 users connected to 1 doorbell, if both users answer the ring on their device, can they both (1) see live view and (2) use 2 way talk at the same time? Or is it the case that whoever answers first is the only person that can view live view and conduct 2 way talk? I plan on setting up a tablet at the door to automatically answer ring and launch live view. So I'm wondering if I'm away from home and my tablet at home answers the ring first, will I still be able to answer the ring and interact with whoever that's at the door? I'm hoping that even though my home tablet setup would answer the ring, I would still be able to see and interact with the person at the door on my phone when I'm not home.

Hi @CATorUser. This is a great question! Thankfully, this will not have to be a concern for you, as multiple users logged in (shared user or owner) can answer the Live View notification. Please note that if two devices are connected to Live View that the audio quality may lag if two voices are talking at once. Although, as long as both devices have a stable connection, the Live View should be able to load simultaneously without a concern. :smiley_cat:

Hi I have landed hear after Googling the same question. I have me and my wife on a shared access. We can both answer calls simultaneously but can't hear each other so unaware the other person has already answered! When we watch back you can hear is both talking over each other unaware that the call had already been answered. Is there a fix for this?

En 2025 sigue persistiendo este problema. Escenario. In 2025, this problem still persists. Scenario. - 2 users sharing access to the application.- Internet of more than 700 Mbps in camera.- 1 interlocutor ringing the doorbell. Problem. - The 2 users connected to the application receive by push the call notification and also the live video notification.- If one of them answers, the other one still receives the call as if it is not answered. As usual, he answers the call and cannot hear the other Ring user with whom he shares the video door phone, but he hears the other party clearly. The other party does not understand anything.- Ring updates the firmware but it continues to do the same thing.- If instead of answering the push call, you access the live video, you still can't hear the Ring user, so you don't know if the other party is being answered. That in 5 years after this post, with the evolution of the doorbell, in my case a Pro 2, they have not solved this problem gives a lot to think about what kind of company you have bought a doorbell. Solutions from my professional point of view. Engineer and programmer with more than 30 years of experience. 1. Hang up the push call when someone answers it. In my case it is a scenario of 2 people sharing a doorbell, but if there were 5 or 6 it would be crazy. 2. The live video would be a communications room with all the people attending inside. With the current codec technology and considering that most of us have fibre over 1 Gbps with quality Wifi Mesh, this is not at all far-fetched.
