Issues with Accessing Ring (Mobile & Online)

I'm unable to login to my Ring App nor am I able to login to it online. For the mobile, I've uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, then reinstalled the app three times. When I go to login, it sends the two-step verification code and when I enter that, it says "something went wrong". I tried to login online to see if I can even get in, it sends the two-step verification code and when I enter that and click VERIFY, it doesn't process and simply times out. When I call the support number, 1.800.656.1918, it hangs up. When I try to use Chat, it simply provides a response that "device help is not supported through chat", even though I'm not asking for device help. Oddly enough, I can login to the Ring Community but that is it. I am beyond frustrated. I have a disabled sister living at the home, I'm out of town and I can't even check on her. Can anyone help?

Can anyone help? Hello @NubianMarin , Yes, everyone is having this temporary issue. The master Ring.Com computer system is down. Check at [https://status.ring.com/ ](https://status.ring.com/ ) for updates. Ring is working to fix the issue.

Hi [@Boone.](/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/73098) Thank you for your response. In my continued searching on Google and on Twitter, I learned I'm not the only one dealing with this. Just wish Ring would get better at notifying users when something of this scale happens.

In my continued searching on Google and on Twitter, I learned I'm not the only one dealing with this. Just wish Ring would get better at notifying users when something of this scale happens. Yes @NubianMarin whenever I encounter some sort of issue, one of the first places I go is to the [https://status.ring.com/ ](https://status.ring.com/ ) website to see if there is something going on there, before I start changing my settings or troubleshooting my Ring App or Ring devices. At least it is a very rare occurrence and hopefully Ring will have this issue fixed quickly. ;)

What's bad is when the status site is also not responding.

I'm having the same problems. Apparently Ring is having problems. Go to the bottom of this page and select the System Status under Support.
