Way too sensitive

I have an indoor cam 2nd gen that is set off by every single little movement(we have 3 cats and a dog), the sensitivity is at the lowest and the movement zone is above waist height for a human. The cats can’t even get to the movement zone as it’s set at my front door and the wall, am I doing something wrong or do the settings just not work?

Hi @user_000aba. The camera operates off of a Passive Infrared system. This means it detects differences in heat signatures as motion. To mitigate this, try using the Smart Alerts feature. You can learn more about this here. If this is happening during a specific time of day, you can try setting up a Motion Schedule. Let me know if this is helpful
