Has anyone found a solution to this error code W18-2 (the camera has stopped getting power). have tried all the tips that are listed, restart, clean, reinstall, switch to battery mode without success. is the camera broken? doesn't a camera last more than a year? I guess I'll have to change the brand of my cameras if they don't last longer than this.

No solution. Find it weird as the adapter I have works perfectly, keeps it charged, works exactly as it should in wired mode with 24/7 recording turned on also. Battery remains at 100% with solar symbol (even though it's hard wired). I'm thinking it's a ring thing to try and prevent you using 3rd party adapters, so show an error message despite everything working as it should to get you to buy a genuine ring adapter at £40
