Floodlight camera lamp flickering issue. Called support and told me it’s most likely broken and out of warranty. It’s only 1.5 years old and I’m pretty upset. My Neigbour had his for just over a year and it did the same thing. I know there’s already a thread on this topic which was closed? Why? Did ring resolve anything? I need to know if there’s a way I can get it replaced? Of course the issue happens after the ridiculously short warranty time frame. It’s expensive and I’m paying monthly for the service on a couple devices already, why do I have to pay for a brand new one…just want your product fixed it shouldn’t be faulty so quick…. I want them to last 10 years like everyone thought!

If the lights on your Floodlight Cam are flickering, dimmed, or not turning on, please try the following troubleshooting steps: Navigate to the Device Health page in the Ring app and use the reboot option to perform a quick reboot. Disconnect the Floodlight Cam from power, and verify that none of the wiring is loose or fraying. We recommend consulting a qualified electrician to look at the wiring if you’re not familiar with it. Fully reset the Floodlight Cam by holding down the setup button on top of the camera for 20 seconds. After the reset is done, walk through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If the lights on the Floodlight Cam are still not working properly after trying the steps above, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available here for further assistance.

Have you heard anything back from them? I've purchased a dozen Ring cameras for personal use and gifts and 2 of my wired floodlight cams started flickering this winter, I can't even use the lights anymore.

Same issue here. Spend more money on a new device to resolve is their only response.

According to old closed threads it is always the light on the right side. Same with mine , it would be dim or flicker. Called support and it is like 3 years old so no luck on that. They did offer a discount code. But this seems like a common problem. Anyone found a solution ? Like just replace the right side led ?
