While using "People Only Mode", this feature differentiates between people and other objects or animals. "People Only Mode" notifies you of motion if a person is detected in range of your device. Consequently, you'll receive less unwanted notifications, such as when a car drives past, or a pet comes in range of your device. Remember that the "People Only Mode" looks for shapes that look like humans, specifically the head and shoulders region. You if want to be notified of passing cars, then you should turn the "People Only Mode" OFF.
